NASIC Workshop on Modern Spectroscopic Techniques and their Applications in Structure Determination is being organized by HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry, International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi under the auspices of Network of Academies of Science in Islamic Countries (NASIC) from December 1-3, 2014 at International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, Karachi-75270, Pakistan.
Scope
Spectroscopy is a thriving and important area of research and development with a wide range of applications. There is a growing need for skilled personnel trained in spectroscopy, especially in spectral interpretation, both in academia and industry. This intensive workshop will give the participants a valuable opportunity to gain knowledge and practical experience in data processing, spectral analysis and interpretation.
Registration
Participants must have at least Masters in Chemistry, Biochemistry and other branches of Analytical Sciences. Participants will include representatives of the science academies of the NASIC, and scientists from the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
The registered/ nominated participants will get entry to scientific lectures, exhibition, full sets of abstracts, a copy of the workshop program, daily refreshments, workshop banquet, and cultural evening.
