Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU) is a newly founded university. It is located in Shaheed Benazirabad District (old: Nawabshah District). SBBU is a public sector general university chartered by Government of Sindh. It is recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. As SBBU is a newly established university, founded in 2010 act passed in Sindh Assembly, it offers very low number of academic programs in different fields.
Department of Chemistry, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University is established in 2012. It offers only undergraduate BS (4 years) academic program in the field of chemistry.
