Government College (GC) Women University Faisalabad started its journey as a degree college in 1944, and started post graduate classes in 1994. In January 2003 the college was upgraded as a university. GC Women University is a general public sector and Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) recognized university. This university is chartered by Government of the Punjab. Only women can get admission in this university.
Department of Chemistry GC Women University is well established department of the university. Department offer undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs in morning and evening. Only female candidates having domicile of Punjab are eligible to get admission.
