In 2010 Government Post Graduate College Multan was upgraded as The Women University Multan (WUM) by an act passed by Government of the Punjab. WUM is newly established public sector general university. It become functional in 2012. WUM is chartered by Government of the Punjab and recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The Women University Multan offers admissions to female candidates only.
Department of Chemistry of the Women University Multan isn’t a well established department. It offers only undergraduate academic program only to female candidates in the field of chemistry.
