University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) is a public sector university. UAF is chartered by Government of the Punjab and recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. University of Agriculture Faisalabad started its journey as Punjab Agricultural College and Research Institute in 1906. In 1961 it was upgraded as a university and renamed University of Agriculture Faisalabad.
Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offer academic programs in biochemistry and chemistry both. The department offers graduate and postgraduate degree programs in the fields of biochemistry and chemistry.
